Chief 8 x 24" Ceiling Plate - CMA440

The Chief 8 × 24" Ceiling Plate – CMA440 is an above-tile suspended ceiling mounting kit designed for projector installations in suspended/drop ceilings. The reinforcing plate installs above the ceiling tile and clamps to the ceiling grid, providing a secure attachment point for Chief ceiling-mount components.

It supports equipment up to 50 lb (22.7 kg) and accepts 1.5" NPT or NPSM threaded extension columns. Chief also provides support wires and a safety cable so the plate can be secured to the true structural ceiling above the suspended grid.
