Interactive displays are a significant investment, and they run for six or seven hours a day, five days a week, in classrooms and offices. Most of the warranties available here are SMART Technologies Assure plans, adding 2 or 4 years of coverage, with remote management, on top of the standard manufacturer warranty for SMART Board displays in 55", 65", 75", and 86" sizes.

We also carry single-year extensions for the OPS computing modules that slot into a SMART Board, including the AM40 iQ appliance, Chromebox OPS units, and PCM OPS PC modules, pushing coverage into a display's 4th and 5th years so a hardware failure doesn't leave a classroom without its board mid-semester.

If you're weighing whether to add coverage, the OEM warranty on most interactive panels runs 3 years, so an Assure extension really decides years 4 and 5, when a display is still in daily use but out of standard coverage. VSC installs and services this equipment ourselves, so we're usually the first call when something goes wrong. We've supported classroom AV equipment nationwide, warranties included, since 1982.
