PRODUCT INFORMATION

The Audio Enhancement MS-700-S Optimum Amplifier Only (AM-3255) is a networked classroom audio amplifier engineered to provide classroom audio reinforcement, network intercom, paging, and emergency notification functionality. Powered entirely via Power over Ethernet (PoE+), this amplifier delivers efficient Class-D audio amplification with built-in paging and intercom support. The MS-700-S is designed for flexibility and reliability in modern educational AV systems and can be installed as part of integrated signaling systems such as SAFE (Signal Alert For Education).

Note: The MS-700-S does not include a built-in XD microphone receiver — an external XD receiver can be connected via the XD receiver port if wireless mic support is needed.

PoE+ Powered Operation
Powered via Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af/at) for simplified installation and reduced cabling requirements.

Network-Based Intercom & Paging
Supports network-based intercom, paging, and emergency notification for classroom communication.

Class-D Amplifier Technology
High-efficiency Class-D amplifier provides reliable 30 W continuous output at 1 % THD with low heat generation.

Flexible Audio I/O

Three RJ45 remote control ports support wall plates and automation interfaces.

Integrated Support for XD Receiver Connection
Includes a dedicated XD receiver port (adapter cable required) to add wireless microphone support. 

PA Connector & Protection
PA connector mutes the amplifier during public address announcements; thermal and short-circuit protection enhance reliability.

SIP & VoIP Compatibility
Supports SIP RFC 3261 protocols and multicast/UDP for network communications.

User-friendly Interface
Includes power/status LEDs and support for control/configuration via USB or network software.
